a la cart is a food service snack cart business established in 1994 to provide students with hands-on experience in owning, operating and managing a business. Since its inception, a la cart has donated over $55,000 in student scholarships. Our long-term goal is to build a permanent structure on campus for our food service business. To date, we have saved $15,000 toward this goal. a la cart students learn valuable business skills from senior a la cart student managers. These skills include Leadership, Operations, Inventory, Marketing, Purchasing and Financial Control.
